History and Mission
History
In 1987 a couple, the Saïds, noticed that pregnant young girls often ended up with no resources and without a friend to comfort or support them in their distress. After talking it over with others who had girls like these in mind, they decided to start the Pregnancy Counselling Centre. Their long-term vision was to open a shelter for pregnant girls who found themselves homeless. Since then, the Centre has helped hundreds of people go through the crisis caused by an unplanned pregnancy.
Our Mission
To offer friendship, assistance and support services to pregnant teens and women as well as to their partners, during pregnancy, foreseen or not. We want to address all the needs of the person : physical, emotional, and spiritual. Our commitment is to be listeners to the needs of the person, and to aid her to make a clear decision.
